Catching up

Wow, it will take me a week to catch up on kitchen, laundry and gardening duties... Laying out, "partying", for a weekend has taken its toll. But what a great time we had. So many people and stories, meeting neighbors in the community, making new friends, seeing old friends, selling a TON of honey and lots of memories to cherish forever.....we are feeling a bit down that it is over but ready to get back to normal. Bonnaroo 2011 is over.

It was HOT, HOT, HOT and dusty all weekend!

So much thanks to my dad for being here helping and having fun! Love you Dad!! You are the BEST!

Hard-working boys!

Taking time out for some fun. Andrew (5) recently learned to ride a bike... On grass and loose gravel! Tough kid!

TJ and I did to spend a few minutes together...

What a mess but totally worth every ingredient and meal!
Fresh tomato, goat cheese and pesto pizza!! OH MY it was good. I am going to make another because I just didn't get enough. I love that the tomatoes (not mine but local) goat cheese (I made it) and the Pesto(grew the basil and made it) and crust (I made it) are so fresh and real!

I have lots of great shots on my camera but I can't find it. Hid it from myself. Most of these came from shots that Katie took using our friend, Dana's backup, amazing Nikon camera. Dana and TJ's sister Kath stayed with us while Dana worked and Kath assisted. Katie and I LOVED all the sisterly goodness that included my mom and Tj's mom on different days and a host of other family females! We are now outnumbered again but have great memories of girl time!

I pray that you are making wonderful summer memories in your corner of the world!
