Taking a Break!

I will be away from here until next Monday. After all the family and friends and music and lemonade sales and laughter! For those who are thinking, "Good grief... enough with the Bonnaroo mentions already.", I apologize. It is just what we are doing right now and it is everywhere in our days and nights. It will be over on Sunday and I can get back to normal around here. Talking about eggs and cows and cheese and gardens and children.

Oh, but first! Gifts that my daughter made for my birthday. She covered a journal, that I already had, with linen fabric and added the appliqued tree with beautiful embroidery! She rocks. The egg basket is wonderful. She and my mom went on secret missions to get the items she needed. When I asked her what pattern she used she replied, as is her usual style, "I just sat a basket on the chicken wire and worked it around the shape of the basket and wove the ends together." She amazes me. The bamboo handles are from our yard!
The girl that constantly melts my heart, with her favorite cat!

Have a wonderful week and weekend and may your days be as full of joy and wonderful memory making events!

Blessings, Tracey

Oh, I love your egg basket! What a creative young lady. I bet she could make a little spending money selling those. :)
